Many people think of the school nurse as the ones with the ice packs andband-aids, but our role goes far beyond. We work in conjunction withthe Vermont Department of Health and the Vermont Department ofEducation on immunization compliance and we conduct annual screeningsincluding vision and hearing. We provide medication management andadministration when a child must have medication during the school day. |
