Responsibilities include: supervision and evaluation of all staff, creating and maintaining a safe and healthy school, initiating professional development opportunities for all staff, communicating with community, preparing and oversight of annual budget, and grant writing.
1998-1999 Assistant Principal, Auburn Village School, Auburn, NH
Responsible for supervision of primary grade teachers, coordinator of 504 plans, bus service, lunch/cafeteria, middle school discipline program and various committee work including: literacy, kindergarten, and assessment.
Also, coach of the Middle School boys’ soccer team.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS
2002 Moharimet Sugarshack Project-
Initiated, designed and constructed Maple Sugarshack/Outdoor Pavilion for school/community program; this collaboration involved community members, school personnel, students and University of New Hampshire faculty and students. Raised money through grants and fundraising activities, including a pancake breakfast attended by 500 people and many in-kind donations for area businesses. Brought 100 community volunteers together to complete the project.
1997-2002 Moharimet Pumpkin Project
Initiated collaboration with University of New Hampshire’s Kingman Farm staff and faculty to use the fields at the farm for growing pumpkins. Students at Moharimet School designed, organized, planted, and tended to pumpkins. Harvested pumpkins were used to raise money for books and as community donations.
1994-2002 Moharimet School Nature Trails
Worked with Outdoor Education Committee to design and construct trails on school and town land. Collaborated with physical education teacher to utilize trails as part of fitness program. Purchased snowshoes to enable year-round use of trails. Worked with town conservation committee to use environmentally friendly trail construction practices. Committee brought Project Learning Tree workshop to school.
1989-92 Stratham Memorial School Recycling
Initiated and designed school wide recycling project, working with Mark Milliken, fifth grade teacher.
